The Octonauts: Toys!

In the mornings as my son gets ready for school Octonauts is on. We usually have time to finish one episode before we really have to get rushing and move. I have found that I really love them. The show is very educational and teaches about all kind of animals/ fish under the sea. My little man is usually into all things dinosaurs and does not have much time for anything else; however, he will stop what he is doing to watch Octonauts. Recently, Child’s Play Communications asked me if we would like to review a gift pack of Octonaut’s toys. I just knew little man would be excited so I agreed. 

I was amazed at the items we received. Wow, there are enough toys to keep my little guy entertained for quite a while! We received the Octo Compass, Gup B Kwazii toy, Gup D and Barnacles toy, Kwazii and the Slim Eel, and Barnicals and Tunip. We also received a special magazine with toys that is only available in the UK. 

Little man was stoked and especially loved the Octo Compass…it talks and he loves to take it outside and pretend that it is a working compass that leads him on new adventures. It has creature’s sounds and the Octo-alert signal. This is just a great little toy for your Octonaut’s fan! 

All of these toys have have become my little guy’s newest bathtub toy! He just loves them, and loves that the shark’s mouth opens and water squirts out of these toys! These toys are made for bath tub play and even have color changing parts! Tunip and the Eel are both water squirters, and the vehicles work well on both land and water.  Every single night in our house is that much more fun because we now have cool new bathtub toys! 

We love Octonauts and I am sure most kids do too! If you have yet to check them out, you definitely should on Disney Junior. Check your local listing for airtimes.  I really hate when my little guy wastes his time watching programs that are not educational, but Octonauts is definitely not one of those shows. He learns something every single time he watches, and to be perfectly honest…I do too! Visit Octonauts online to learn more. You can purchase these toys on toys r us or amazon.
