  2. I'll have to agree with saying Please and Thank You and also "Excuse me" instead of just bumpin g into someone. My grandson also uses Sir or Ma'am when speaking to an adult

    I think the first one's to teach a little one would be when/how to use thank you, you're welcome, and excuse me. :)

  8. I think it is important for children to know how to use tableware. It makes them more confident when they eat with others. They can concentrate on the conversation and not on if they are using the right silverware during dinners with others.

  12. Always be honest. The consequences are always worse if you lie about it. No matter how bad it is, you get in a lot less trouble as long as you are honest about it. It was something my mom very strongly instilled in my siblings and I, and it is something I try to instill in my children as well.
