Donkey Kong 80s Party at our house!

If you we're a child of the 80s, you know all about donkey kong! Growing up I loved playing donkey Kong on my Nintendo! Now, You can watch donkey Kong on video. We were lucky enough to receive a donkey Kong prize pack featuring donkey Kong country. The prize pack also came with a basket of 80s goodies like slap bracelets and jelly bracelets. My family and I had fun dressing up in the 80s gear and watching Donkey Kong Country!

"One of the most beloved video game characters of all time is swinging onto DVD! Donkey Kong Country brings all your favorite apes to life in stunning CGI animation. Join Donkey Kong the peace-loving ape with a big heart as he teams with best-friend Diddy Kong to take on King K. Rool and his band of Kremlins."

This 90 minute animated movie features Bad Hair day, Ape Foo Young, Booty and the Beast and Barrel, Barrel, who's got the Barrel. It is very colorful and clever and leaves you laughing at the antics on Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong and the Kremlins! It took my right back to my childhood! Since I was born in 1981, Donkey Kong was a major part of my life then! We have since watched the movie several times. My six year old absolutely loves it since he is familiar with the character Diddy Kong from Mario Kart! It is definitely a fun, family friendly movie that I would recommend to my friends!

  1. Oh my goodness, how fun. We have had a few 80's parties at our house over the years. I never thought to incorporate the old video games. Thanks!
