Pork Chomps

My dog House (named after Dr. Gregory House) loves treats, like any other dog does. When Pork Chomps reached out to see if we wanted to try their products, I of course said yes knowing House would love it.

When I received the box of treats I was shocked. They really hooked us up with all their products.  The first thing I gave house was the sweet potato wrapped twist. I don’t think he moved much until it was gone. I could tell right away that he liked it.

We have tried all them so far, and I think his favorite ones are the strips. He tosses them around and plays with them around the house, as you can see from the video below.

Pork Chomps is 100% rawhide free. According to Pork Chomps  “There was a study conducted by the University of Illinois Department of Animal Sciences and Department of Animal Sciences at Purdue University, Pork Comps products were scientifically proven to be 99.9% digestible compared to rawhide chews, which were only 50-85% digestible”.

I know when house is chewing up treats he sometimes bites off a big piece and will swallow it. I get worried that there could be damage. The more digestible the treat is the less likelihood that there will be any issues with the dog.

A few things that were pointed out to me that I think are pretty cool, especially when I have children running around is that Pork Chomps are:
  • Odor free
  • Stain free
  • Mess free as most dogs consume the entire treat
  • No slimy mess left over to clean up

I don’t know about you but it makes me happy when I get my animals treats that they actually like and that are good for them. I have purchased ones in the past that I end up giving away to someone else because House ends up hating them. I know with Pork Chomps he will eat every last treat.
