I've been very selective in which brand I feed my dog. She's a Jack Russell and is 16 years old and still going strong. I definitely think a well balanced diet has let her have this long life!
ReplyDeleteI'm hesitant to five the stuff my dad buys for his dog, it's cheap and in packets. Thankfully my dog doesn't like it much. I feel like if it's not good enough for me it's not good enough for my dog. That doesn't mean I cook for him or something crazy, but if there's leftovers or food that I won't eat my dog doesn't eat it either. He doesn't get human food unless its a holiday but he's a funny little guy he likes egg yolk, not the white, carrots, cherrios (mushy from milk) wheat tortillas and bread not white.
ReplyDeleteLike this easter he will probably get some egg and meat with carrots and I will try to sneak in peas.Otherwise he was weight watchers dry and sometimes 1/2 a can of wet.
