Carmex lip balm

Everyone knows Mya and love makeup and everything but a lot of times we forget about our lips with either lipstick or lip treatments. Carmex reached out to try their Moisturizer Plus. After looking at the new designs (and Mya) we of course said yes.

Back to school is around the corner and the new Moisturizer Plus line is perfect for girls to have in their lockers, backpacks, purses and well pretty much everywhere…

We were sent 4 of the new lip balms to try. Edie, Whimsical, Chic and Fab. My favorite one was Fab which is the purple one. I’m not sure if it really says that my statement shoes are Go-go boots, but hey for 70’s night, why not?. Each flavor has a few things that Carmex came up with to describe it. for Edie they say this:

Name: Edie
Fashion Icon: Twiggy
Words to live by: “it’s all groovy.”
Her style in one word: Mod
Go-to outfit: Mini-dress
Statement shoes: Go-go boots

I think this is really cute and fun way to describe a lip balm. Not only do they do that little names and whatnot, they also do a paragraph that describes what the name would mean.

Not surprisingly, Mya’s favorite was Whimsical. She always loves fun patterns and really is a fun girl. Her favorite thing about the lip balm (besides the outside) is who easily it goes on and is still is clear.

Name: Skye
Fashion Icon: Joni Mitchell
Words to live by: “Reduce, reuse, recycle.”
Her style in one word: Carefree
Go-to outfit: Patterned maxi dress
Statement shoes: Flat leather sandals.

Overall Carmex Moisture Plus is great and super fun way to have a little style you get your lip balm on (in the words of an 11 year old).

If you’re looking for the everyday use and the more classic look, don’t worry Carmex still has those and they even protect your lips from the sun and water. You can get the original, strawberry or even cherry, which would be my favorite when it comes to the classic Carmex.
