Papaya from SunRidge Farms

It doesn’t really matter to me how I get the fruit as I love all kinds. When SunRidge Farms contacted me to try their papaya’s I of course said yes. I have loved papayas for what seems like forever. it’s such a treat when they have them in the grocery store.

What I like about SunRidge Farms is that all their fruit is all natural. They don’t use preservatives, artificial flavors or colors and no hydrogenated oils. They offer antioxidant and high fiber qualities. They wait until all their fruit is ripened on the vines and trees by the sun before they harvest.

The first item that I received were the papaya spears. I looked at the ingredients on the bag and it is so nice to see only 2 ingredients, papaya and evaporated can juice. It doesn’t get too much better than that for ingredients.

The spears are really good and taste almost as good as a fresh papaya. Mya didn’t really like them but I wasn’t to surprised as she isn’t the biggest papaya fan. That’s ok though, more for me and Fallon to eat. At the suggestion by SunRidge Farms I added the spears to a salad. I simply chopped the spears up and tossed it in. It added to the salad and made it even better.

The second product I received was their tropical trail mix. Inside it is sunflower seeds, raisins, almonds, peanuts,  dates, coconut chips, papaya, pineapple and bananas. This is a great Non GMO snack that you can give to the kids and yourself without feeling guilty. Besides the papaya and raisins my favorite part of the trail mix is the pineapple. I love that there are very few ingredients besides the ones listed above. It’s a great item for the diaper bag or the purse.
