Choice of Eitech Construction Set

My husband and son are always looking for something fun to do together, so when I was contacted to review the Eitech Train Car Construction Set I was very excited! This is a project that they can enjoy together, and when I say project, I mean project! You see, my hubby and oldest son are not very "handy." Hubby is not the kind of man that can throw something together in minutes. It takes him careful planning and research to build anything, and this Eitech Train is no different. We have had this train for a month, and we are still chugging (pardon the pun) away at this project!!

Even though my oldest is 7 (this is recommended for 8+) he is struggling a bit with the tools, but that is completely him. We are beginning to think he needs a little occupational therapy, because he cannot do many things that other kids his age can, and his handwriting is horrible. Either way, he has had an absolutely blast helping his Dad find the pieces that he needs to put this construction set together and I think this project is perfect to help build some of those fine motor skills he seems to be lacking! All of us are very excited to get this put together because baby brother is into trains and this will be the PERFECT addition to his bedroom as a showcase decoration!

This is the perfect bonding project for your kids and you or your partner! It definitely takes so time and thought, and teaches kids (and sometimes parents) how to work together to complete tasks! It is also a great patience builder! The full color instructions makes it easy for kids to understand and complete this task, and some may even be able to build this themselves!
