Silkn Flash & Go hair removal #SilknProducts

I participated in an Influencer Activation Program on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Silk’n. I received a promotional item to facilitate my review.

As a women with way too much hair (PCOS and being 50% Hispanic) I jumped at the chance to try out Silk’n Flash & Go. I was so excited at the thought of no more shaving, plucking or going to the salon for waxing. I couldn’t wait to try it out.

Plucking hurts, Waxing REALLY can hurt (depending where you wax of course). I even did electrolysis for a while in high school, that wasn’t pleasant. I remember laying on the table just wanting it to be done and over with. I thought the Silk ‘n go may hurt as well, but I was wrong. It was totally painless. A little different from things I have used in the past. As long as you follow the instructions, you should be just fine.

What is it exactly? Silk’n Flash&Go, a light-pulsed hair removal device, allows you to properly target and zone areas that require hair removal treatment. I knew it was going to take a few weeks to work. Nothing like this works right away. I was told to give it 8. Seemed like forever but I kept going. If over 4 million treatments have been done worldwide since 2009, then I can keep going and it should work. It was a little scary not knowing exactly what I was doing, but like most products of this degree, I read the instructions and watched youtube videos to make sure I was doing it right.

Please know that The Silk’n Flash&Go should not be used on areas listed below:
• Tattoo or permanent makeup
• Dark brown or black spots such as large birthmarks, moles or warts
• Eczema, psoriasis, lesions, open wounds
• Active infections such as cold sores
• Abnormal skin conditions

Also The Silk’n Flash&Go is not suitable for people with the following conditions:
• Pregnant or nursing
• Exposed to tanning machines or unprotected sun bathing in the in last 28 days
• Planning to vacation in the next 6 weeks
• Have a history of keloid scar formations
• Known sensitivity to light or taking medication making you sensitive to light, including non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents
• Treated with Accutane within last 6 months
• Suffer from epilepsy
• Received radiation or chemotherapy treatment within the past 3 months
The initial cost of the Flash & Go is a little pricy at $199 or $298 if you buy the lifetime Lux cartridge BUT you get so much out of it. If you go to a salon and have waxing every 6 weeks that will catch up to you. You will may $200 for one treatment sometimes with a laser at salons. So when you break it down and price compare the Silnk’n Flash & Go is definitely worth your money.

Unlike waxing and plucking the Flash & Go is PERMANENT, and who doesn’t like that?

I have been working on the hair on my arms as it is very embarrassing to have such long and dark hair and a pain to shave it ALL the time. I really have seen a huge improvement. I have such thick hair that I think it will take a little longer to get everything. The next area I will be working on will be the small of my back (sucks being hispanic sometimes) but I will need help with that one of course. I can’t wait to not have to worry about any of it anymore.
