great hair and skincare products from Cheer Chics

My oldest daughter has inherited my love for skin care products, can’t say I blame her. We both love to try out new lines. Recently I was asked to try out some Cheer Chics products. I had never heard of them before, but after looking at them online, and even though she is not longer a cheerleader (you will understand later) I knew my daughter would love them.

Cheer Chics was a line reserved for cheerleaders who used the products to achieve the glitz and glamour especially during competitions. While Cheerleaders will still use this, Ulta and Sweet & Sassy salons are now stocking their shelves with this product line.

I of course had to smell this shampoo before anything else as it is described on the bottle as a yummy candy fragrance. I’m not sure I would describe it as that, but for me it resembled a strawberry creamsicle. It definitely smelled really good, at least to me and Mya it did. My husband on the other hand wasn’t to thrilled with it, but he’s a guy so what does he know right?

Mya loves it and said it makes the whole bathroom smell fantastic. She doesn’t want to use it everyday, only because she doesn’t want to use it up. I guess that means I need to buy her more.

I think I love conditioners more than shampoo, just because of the scent alone and how silky they make my hair. I also use it as a moisturizer after I wash my face, leave it on for a few minutes then rinse it. Cheer Chics conditioner smells like strawberries, which to me complements the shampoo perfectly. I really like how it can be used on color treated hair since most of us, even tweens have dyed our hair.

Of course the first thing I thought of when I saw the lotion was the movie (love that movie). Unlike the shampoo and conditioner, the lotion doesn’t seem to have a scent to me, which is ok. I think that it’s fantastic that it has shea butter, vitamins A, B5 and C to help your skin be ultra healthy. It goes on super easy and has a shimmer to it. One downside is that you have to apply more than a normal lotion if you want a good shimmer. Not a big deal, just something I noticed.

If you have a girl that loves her skincare and  hair products like mine does, you must check out Cheer Chics to see the products I received and the others they have. They would make a great stocking stuffer or a just because gift.
