Roman Meal Bread great whole wheat bread

I participated in a Blog Blast on behalf of Mom Central for Roman Meal Bread. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

Even when most of us are on diets, we can still have carbs. For me bread is a huge carb that I love. So, i had to look for bread that I can eat and that is still good for me. Roman Meal is definitely one of those options that is good for you, and helps with the need for carbs.

Ok, I really should have known this. I probably did at one point but anyway… Did you know that the USDA recommends that we eat 48 grams of whole wheat per day? That seems like a lot of wheat. When you break it down it isn’t so bad. Just 2 pieces of Roman Meal bread is 21 grams. So with one sandwich, you are almost half done.

One of the things I like about Roman Meal Bread is that it is baked fresh and local. This means that they partner with regional bakeries across the US to deliver fresh baked bread to your local grocery stores.

  • Good source of vitamin D, fiber and calcium
  • helps with digestion and weight management
  • it may even reduce the risk of heart disease (studies have shown)

Roman Meal was one of the first companies to offer whole grain bread nationwide, so they definitely know what they are doing and talking about. I highly suggest the next time you are at the store to take a look at the breads they offer and try out Roman Meal.
