Stop Bedtime Battles with elo Storytime pillow! Win Yours!

"It all began at bedtime. A mother of two was tired of the bedtime battle. Her friend imagined a “magic pillow” that would stop storytime every time her daughter lifted her head off the pillow.
One night, the mother tried this tactic while reading stories—and it worked! The excuses to get out of bed dissolved away, and her daughter stayed resting in bed. She even tried to pick up her stuffed animal with her feet so her story wouldn’t be interrupted!
Thus began the elo pillow. Now that “magic pillow” is no longer just a dream product, but a tool to encourage restful bedtimes and decrease struggles. Enjoy!"
Bedtime. It is something that we parents both loathe and look forward to simultaneously!  Seriously, getting kids bathed, in their pajamas and asleep is something that can make you crazy....but when they are asleep.......sweet, sweet sleep.....then a moms work is done- or not! One could dream, right?

Anyway, there are those nights that you just do not have time for story time. Yes....in a perfect world, we would cuddle and have story time and prayers every single night, but in the real world, we have to skip it every now and then. Wouldn't it be excellent if there was something that did story time for you and also "trained" your child to enjoy your story time with their head down, listening contentedly? Well... now there is- in steps the elo Pillow

This super cool pillow is a pillow that reads a story to your child and if they life their head, the story stops!! Just like that! You can also customize which stories work best for your children, based on their age and interests. The elo pillow also plays white noise to help your children relax and drift off into a restful sleep after story time is over!

What my boys thought:
I have two boys, ages 7 and almost 2. They two year old has not quite figured out he needs to lay with his head on the pillow for the elo to stay on, and we are working on that. For this reason, he has not gotten full enjoyment out of his pillow because he is a busy on the go little boy, that we almost have to hold down to get to give it up and go to sleep. My 7 year old on the other hand loves it! He loves it and loves his bedtime snuggles and story time. Since he generally is pretty awesome about lying with his head on the pillow anyway, this works really well for him!! He loves that he can pick out the books he wants read and really enjoys the waves and white noise sounds to help him drift off into sleepitime! He also says that the elo is pretty comfortable!

Overall we love the elo Pillo! At $149, the elo is a little out of our price range, but it is pretty awesome for those who need a little help and guidance with their little ones going down peacefully at bedtime. I think it is a great investment for kids around the age of 3-4 who understand that they need to relax and go to bed, but still have poor impulse control in those areas. It should definitely be on your Christmas list if you have such a child!

  1. Children require between 10 and 14 hours of sleep per 24 hour period, and so often a difficult or inconsistent bedtime only makes it harder for your child to get to sleep.
