LEVEL Life protein bars

Oh protein bars, you all know how much I like them. My husband teases me a little because I have so many different in my “mom food” cabinet LEVEL Life recently contacted me asking for me to try out their bars. I was very happy to try them out especially so I can share with my fellow WLS friends.

Of course I migrated to the Chocolate Crisp bar first. The bar only has 130 calories, with only 2 grams of sugar and 6 grams of sugar alcohol. For me that is a perfect amount as my body can’t do a ton of sugar alcohols (we won’t talk about that though).

The taste is great. Even though there is 11 grams of protein, there isn’t a after proteiny (is that a word) taste to it. I know WLS people know what I mean when I say that. The size of the bar is also perfect for me since I can’t eat a ton at one time.

My other favorite flavor was the Chocolate Peanut Crunch (seeing a theme here?)  This bar has even more protein at 13 grams and less sugar and sugar alcohols. LEVEL Life also has caramel chocolate peanut and double chocolate chip, which were both very good. I think my husband has stolen a few of the caramel ones as I don’t remember eating as many.  These are perfect for throwing in my purse, car, diaper bag (for me), etc.

If you want something a little more shackish LEVEL Life also has a line called Sweet Snacks. They have peanut turtle bars and also peanut butter cups. My favorite out of the two is the peanut butter cups. I wish there were more than 4 packs (2 cups to a pack). Even though they are considered a sweet snack, they are still good for you and have 5 grams of protein.

With my pouch I can’t handle pre made protein shakes but I know many WLS people who can, and LEVEL Life offers some great flavors. I’d check them out today. Use the store locator near you to find a store. I looked and even with me living in what I consider the middle of nowhere, I have 2 stores within 5 mins that carry LEVEL products, so i’m sure there is one near you as well.

One of the other things I really like about LEVEL Lifeis that they have what’s called a LEVEL Life program. You get coupons, support tools and help with your weight loss needs.
