Curious Critters Marine by David Fitzsimmons.

I am lucky that both of my boys love education books and they learn about exciting creatures they knew little about. We were lucky enough to receive a book that has not yet been released called Curious Critters Marine. This awesome new book is written by David FitzSimmons and will be released on Earth Day, which is April 22. His mission is to have kids fall in love with sea creatures, and I will tell you, he did just that for my older son and myself!

I had no clue just how intelligent a octopus was until I read this book, and I am amazed at all the critters listed in the book that I had never even heard of.  Every single page features an amazingly colorful and vivid picture featuring the critter of choice, and lots of interesting facts about each. While my younger son (2) did not understand what the book was about, he did enjoy looking at the pictures with us, but my older son (7) said that he learned a lot with this easy to read book. Although we read it together (I admit, I was fascinated too) he could have easily read it on his own and learned interesting facts to share with his classmates. 

We had so much fun reading this together, that I highly recommend you checking it out for your little ones if they love to learn! It is available for purchase through amazon.
