I start from the Top of my house to the Bottom. While keeping all the windows open!
ReplyDeleteI'm moving so I'm donating lots of stuff. I figure if I haven't used or worn something in 6 months I get rid of it. I try to clean out my drawers in the kitchen a couple times a year. I used to have one junk drawer but now I have 2 so it's time to throw junk out. Thank you for the chance :)
ReplyDeleteClean with baking soda, vinegar and Dawn soap. It's AMAZING and works great!
ReplyDeleteInvite someone over, I can clean a lot right before the show ip :)
ReplyDeleteI use baking soda and water on a cloth like a light paste to remove grease off the stove and to clean out my deep fryer it worked great.
ReplyDeleteVinegar is our friend. We use it and sanitize our house. I love to pull out the black light and check things out. It lets you know what you may have missed.
ReplyDeletePurge-- If I haven't used it in a year---out it goes. Then I start washing down the walls starting with the bathroom,This give me a chance as I purge that room and wash it down,to decide if it needs to be repainted or just refreshened.
ReplyDeleteDeclutter first and be organized. Do one room set a time.
ReplyDeleteGetting rid of unused things, and lots of coffee!
ReplyDeleteThe best way to spring clean, is to get rid of everyone and do it yourself.
ReplyDeleteMy best tip is, do everything as you get to it. There's no annual time limit! Lol
ReplyDeleteMy best tip is that while you're organizing your closets and drawers you should donate or trash anything you haven't worn/used in 1 year.
ReplyDeleteIf your shower has a lot of soap scum and you can't get it to come off mix a small bottle of Dawn dish soap and some white vinegar in a spray bottle spray your shower and let it sit for an hour ot 2 and it will be much easier to remove.
ReplyDeleteGet rid of it!! If you really don't use it, donate it!!
ReplyDeleteI only use vinegar, lemon. Sometimes bleach or peroxide. Those 4 will clean anything
ReplyDeleteMy best tip is to use a dryer sheet to wipe down your window blinds. It actually repels the dust so you don't need to dust so often.
ReplyDeleteSet a timer for 30 minutes per room (you can adjust this for the time you need) so you keep moving without stopping or getting distracted
ReplyDeleteMy best tip, is to crank your favorite CD, open all the windows, and sing while you clean. Time fly's and the house is clean in no time!
ReplyDeleteMy tip is to start with the small rooms like the bathroom and closets then get to the bigger tasks.
ReplyDeleteI really don't have any spring cleaning tips, except maybe to get rid of things that you no longer use.
