My favorite memories were when we went to the lake at summer time, always fun and looked forward to going.
ReplyDeleteMy memories are consolidated - the many father's day cookouts we had at my sister's house which always included great food, and swimming.
ReplyDeleteWhen I was growing up, we spent Father's Day at the lake where my Grandfather kept a camper for the summer. Such fond memories of swimming, fishing and canoeing with my Dad. :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite was when my son bought me a drill for father's day. (he bought me flowers for mother's day)
ReplyDeleteFather's Day has always been a favorite. I think my favorite was last year, when we had a huge father's day picnic at our house. It was so fun to celebrate fathers among about 100 of our friends and family.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite father's dad memory was last year when we surprised him with an indoor waterpark overnight stay.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite father's day memory is our fishing trips we took on Father's Day when I was younger.

ReplyDeleteVisiting the race track too tough to tame old time favorite RP....Is a great memory.

ReplyDeleteI loved making cards for my dad when I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteI really don't have a 'special' father's day; they were all special!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure. My father died when I was ten and so I don't remember alot of them, but I know that since we've had children it's been amazing to see how my husband has become such an amazing daddy to his four little girls. I've been able to see how a father is supposed to love his family. I'm so thankful. SO thankful.
ReplyDeletewe try to make fathers day special every year....so can't really say i have a favorite
ReplyDeleteWhen I was younger I decided to take my dad to the zoo for Father's Day. Was probably really a gift for my mom, she got the whole house to herself :)

ReplyDeleteMy Favorite Father Day Memories were when Father's Day & my Birthday fell on the same day every 7 years! I wish Dad were still with us, we'd be celebrating together again this year. He was a disabled WWII vet that wasn't suppose to live after he was wounded in N.Africa. He was in a coma for 6 mos. but he lived, married and had 4 kids! He Loved Life and everything about it. Happy Father's Day, Daddy...he lived to be 87 and I'll be celebrating his 100th Birthday (July 26) and my 58th this June 21st.
ReplyDeleteWe used to go to Sizzler for lunch every Father's Day
ReplyDeleteAs a kid, I used to make cards and remember shopping for my dad. It's been a long time since we've really celebrated the day.
