  2. Not very heavy... my 5yo is in K5 so probably just the weight of the backpack it's self. My daughter is in 4th grade and last year she insisted on having all sorts of crap and tons of books in her backpack. I'm betting it weighed about 10-15lbs.

  15. The children's backpacks are very heavy. I think they should put all their text books on Kindle's or an e-reader of some kind.

  20. I bet my youngest in school, her backpack probably weighs about 7/8 lbs but my high schooler, I bet it weighs 12/13 lbs! She doesn't have a locker either so she has to carry everything, everywhere. :(
