I love peanut butter, like for real LOVE peanut butter. My oldest daughter is 12 and actually doesn’t like it (gasp!) So when I had the chance to try out Justin’s, I thought it would be a good time to see if she would like variations of pb like almond butter.
First off, I want to say that Justin’s has more than jars of almond butter. They have peanut butter cups, in dark chocolate, milk chocolate AND white chocolate! It’s a piece of goodness and I found my cups at Starbucks which makes it even better when added with coffee. You can also buy the almond butter in 12 or 16 oz jars, or what’s even more convenient, little pouches. This way you can throw in your purse or keep it in your office drawer without taking up a lot of space.
So I said that I wasn’t sure if my oldest would like the almond butter because she isn’t a pb fan. Well, I made cookies and she ate them up. Safe to say she liked it. Score for Justin’s!
Next time you are at the store make sure you check them out. Most of the time I found both the pouches and jars in the peanut butter section, but sometimes the pouches are by the checkout counters. You can always check on their site as to what store near you has it.
Here is my very simply THREE ingredient almond butter cookies:
Ingredients:
1 cup of Justin’s Almond Butter
6 Tablespoons sugar
1 egg
Directions:
pre-heat oven to 350
Mix all three ingredients together
place spoonful onto a greased pan/stone
Bake in oven for 10 min
Let cool and enjoy- that easy!!!
