    Even though I am a retired teacher, we never had the disruption of trying to get rid of head lice in our family but I know many who have. It is a constant worry for families! I would love to try this with my grandson now that he's in pre-school.

    My 6 yr. old did last year and it lasted for months. It was a nightmare. We tried everything, so our pediatrician prescribed Sklice. It worked but was full of toxic chemicals.

    I think it is fairly common for kids to get lice in elementary, most use RID or other toxic chemical formulas.

    My children have never had lice, but I have heard horror stories, that's why a preventative repel spray is so appealing to me! I love the idea of that extra protection!

    The school district where I live no longer makes the kids stay home from school if they have lice. Ugh.
