Buckley & Phillips Essential Oils

Over the past few years I have grown to love essential oils more and more. I love working with all companies, seeing how they do things and of course their oils. Buckley & Phillips is a new company for me. They are based out of Australia. They are new to me, but are not new to oils. They have been in the business since 1972.

Buckley & Phillips are one of Australia's most reputable suppliers of essential oils, with our Gumleaf Essentials range. They are 100% pure and natural and of course therapeutic-grade! One of the biggest thing to look at is how they are made and what is all in them. You pretty much want JUST that oil unless it’s a blend, then of course other oils.

I was sent 10 of their best selling oils:

You can use oils alone (with carriers) or you can blend them with other oils. I noticed on the bottles Buckley & Phillips not only tells you ways to use the oil but also tells you what other oils it. For example Ylang Ylang blend well with Rose, Lavender, and Rosewood. You can also use it in a diffuser, bath or on the body with a carrier oil (coconut oil, Jojoba, even baby oil can be used).

When it comes to my top favorite oils they are:

Lavender
Peppermint
Lemon
Frankincense

Those four have so many uses that it’s crazy. Lemon not only smells amazing but it can also be used for cleaning when added to some water and vinegar. When I clean with that, my house smells so good! Whenever I get lemon from a new company I have to smell it right away. I can tell right away if it’s going to be good or not, based on the scent. After you smell a few different ones you will know what I mean. Just so you know, Buckley & Phillips Lemon smells amazing.

Lavender has a calming affect. I add lavender to my daughter’s diffuser every night for when she sleeps. We also rub some on the bottom of her feet at bedtime as well.

I like to combine Lavender and Peppermint to my diffuser necklaces. I also rub on my forehead to help with my chronic headaches and migraines. I usually do a drop or 2 of each one to keep it even but sometimes I will do more Peppermint if my headache/migraine is making me more nauseous than normal peppermint is a big help in that area).

Frankincense is one of those oils that seems to have a million uses. From cuts, digestive, arthritis, to colds and so many more. The benefits are endless, that’s why it’s in my my must have list.

Buckley & Phillips has about 60 oils and then 18 different already mixed blends. There is something for everyone. One of the other big things about this company that I love. It’s their prices. I hear so often from you my readers, and my family/friends that they want to get into oils but they are too expensive so they can’t buy them. Here they aren’t, they are affordable. Some oils are even $9.99 for their 10ml bottles. $10!!! That’s a great deal. I highly recommend that you go and check them out! Remember that they ship from Australia so they may take a little longer to arrive but it’s worth the wait.

I often blend my oils as i’m using them or if i know i’m going to use one a lot then I mix a larger batch together and put in a little spray bottle or bottle. You can order empty bottles on Amazon for very decent prices and create your own blends.

A blend I like to spray around my house is distilled water, Lavender and Orange or Eucalyptus and Orange. Spray it or diffuse it around your house and you will love!

So far from what I've seen from what they sent me, they are great quality and perfect for my needs. Bergamot was a new oil for me so that was really great. I have heard it can help with anxiety so i’m excited to see how that will help. I don’t have a huge issue with it but we all have it once in awhile.

  19. I really want and need to start using essential oils. I am allergic to everything, so I need juniper berry and cardamom oil to help with my eye and ear infections I currently have. Since I'm allergic to all antibiotics, these oils that I have never seen, seem to be my only hope. I would love to try all except eucalyptus and cinnamon since I'm highly allergic to both of them as well.

  51. I do love a blend of rose and Patchouli. Rose is lovely (nothing at all like the cheap, "fragrance oils", but smells of the real flower). Patchouli is my favorite, it is very grounding for me, and calms me better than even lavender or chamomile. Put the 2 together, it's a winning combination!

I am new to EO's but have found that I can use Peppermint oil on pieces of cloth tied to different parts under the hood of the car put peppermint oil on the cloth & it will deter mice from building a nest in your engine compartment. they usually do this every year costing just under a $1000 to clean & fix every year.
