My Dad has passed away, but I'll be calling my sweet mom. I also will be celebrating with my husband, and children. We'll cook him breakfast, and a big dinner out on the patio.
ReplyDeleteWe live in Barcelona, so this celebration is on a different day. Thank you! Best regards,
ReplyDeleteMarta
My father died many years ago, but still have the memories of how he loved me. I'll be spending the day with my husband (another great father) in Milledgeville, GA where we're parked in our RV. (full-timers). We'll probably go to his restaurant choice for dinner.
ReplyDeleteGoing to the movies! Central Intelligence looks so funny!
ReplyDeleteIf weather permits, a bbq is still planned; otherwise we'll do brunch.
ReplyDeleteI am taking him out for a special dinner
ReplyDeleteI went to the zoo and it was awesome.
ReplyDeleteI don't really talk to my dad much. It's my husband's first fathers day though.
ReplyDeleteI don't having a living father or grandfather and not married. And, my son is not a dad either. So, I will just be hanging out. My son does wish me happy father's day as I raised him as a single mom.
ReplyDeleteWe are just hanging out!
ReplyDeleteI spent today covering a table for my daughter at a local event. She's at a weekend event, selling her art and books, so I took care of a smaller, local event. Tomorrow will be just resting up and doing housework.
ReplyDeleteBlueberry pancakes from scratch, waterfall hike or visit museum (depends on the weather) and BBQ with angel food cake for dad
ReplyDeleteHaving Dad and his wife over for lunch got him a cap, NASCAR, and beef jerky and new shirt. Hoping he recognizes us but sometimes he doesn't always remember everything. I hate Alzheimer's. But love dad so much.
