  3. My oldest son was/is a mentor and inspiration to my younger son. He has been their to support him in many ways, teach him how to play sports and spend time with him.

    I could write on and on about how absolutely incredible he was as a musician, teacher, mentor, friend, and human being. He went above and beyond; and was so full of life, energy, and a passion for music that was both contagious and inspiring.

  8. My computer programming teacher in college was the first and only teacher to ever pull me aside and tell me he expected more of me. While I was annoyed initially, I look back on that and feel like he inspired me to put forth more effort.

  10. My favorite teacher ever was my English teacher I had in jr high and then again as a high school senior. She gave me confidence in public speaking and writing. She did a lot for my self esteem.
