My family and I love Las Vegas. There are times when we go without the kids, and many times we go with them. My kids are ages 14 and 4, so we need places that are kid friendly. You can find that in Vegas. There is something for everyone. I swear, most of our trips revolve around food, so here is a list of some of our favorite places that are kid friendly.
800 degrees
This one of our favorite pizza places in Las Vegas. They are located at the SLS Hotel on the strip. You can choose from the main menu OR make your own with a variety of toppings and sauce options. My favorite is the Bianca base (fresh mozzarella, Parmigiano-Reggiano, garlic, oregano, and olive oil. Another must have at 800 degrees are their meatballs! They are simple, but oh so good!
The Cracked Egg
Vegas has a few locations of the Cracked Egg, and we have been to a few of them. We have yet to be disappointed. It’s a simple all American style breakfast. The star of the show is their coffee cake. You never know what flavor it ill be until they get there, but don’t worry. If you like coffee cake you will love this. One time I had a lemon, another pumpkin to the traditional cinn apple. I would go there just for the coffee cake, it’s that good. Other options like the chorizo skillet. Big portions and great prices.
Hash House a Go Go
Hash House has everything. We have gone to their standalone restaurant for breakfast and ones in the hotels for dinner and all have been amazing. The breakfasts are huge portions (enough for a few meals for me) and for roughly under $15, prices can’t be beat.
SmashBurger
If you are looking for a “fast” and healthy food. Smash Burger is the place to go. You can customize your food and it’s made fresh to order. My kids love the burgers as to do. They get the classic cheese burger while I go outside the box with a goat cheese, red onion, cucumber and vinaigrette dressing over a small burger and lettuce (no bun). I recommend opting for the smash fries as they are seasoned and so good.
Margaritaville
You wouldn’t think that a restaurant known for drinks would be kid friendly, but they really are. Many times when we have gone, they have had someone there making balloon hats and things with for the kids (and adults). It’s a fun experience as the staff dance, and interact with everyone.
BoneFish Grill
If you want a little nice place to relax and a great meal. Bonefish Grill is the place to go. Make sure you get the Bang Bang Shrimp, they are amazing. They have a great selection for kids including fish and broccoli (my kids LOVE broccoli), and then of course some special desserts. For the adults that like martinis, definitely order one. I’m not a big martini fan and I Loved the one I got. They change them around so ask what the special is.
Nathan’s Hot Dogs
If you are off the strip and on Freemont Street. You need to stop by Nathan’s Hotdogs and get the deep fried Oreo’s. You get 3 to an order and your kids will love you for it. Plus if you go to Freemont at night they can see the “Freemont Experience” with the light show over the street.
Blizz
You can find Blizz in many of the hotels (like Mirage, MGM etc). They have frozen yogurt, waffels, crepes and smoothies. Their crepes are well worth the price. My oldest has asked that we stop and go into a hotel just so she can get a crepe.
Carlos Bakery
Be prepared for a line, but it’s worth it. What kid doesn’t love a good cookie, or even a cake for a special occasion? The bakery and restaurant are located at the Venetian. One of the fun parts, is you can watch them prepare some of the sweets through the window area at the bakery.
Chuck E Cheese’s
Chuck E Cheese’s is designed for kids. So, if you need them to run around a little and have some fun, CEC is the place to go. I have noticed overtime their pizza has gotten better and they even have salad and other options as well for lunch.
