We get so busy with Thanksgiving and Christmas plans that we forget about this important day that celebrates the men and women who fought for our country. It’s the summer of 2020 which means its senior picture time. Man, time flies doesn’t it? Mya will be a senior this coming fall, and it doesn’t see real I mean I’m only 36, I mean 29 (that’s my story at least). Back to School shopping and fun at Mall of America

Living in central WI has it’s perks. One of those being living only a few hours from the Mall of America. A few weeks ago Dan and I decided to take the kids and spend the weekend at the mall. Even though both of us have nice cars, it’s always fun to drive something different. Kia was kind enough to send me their 2019 Kia Sorento to drive for a week (which was a blast).

Being adopted comes with a lot of questions. One of the big ones is… What is my heritage/ancestry? In the past nobody would know unless told. I was told some, I was told that I was ½ Cuban from my biological father’s side, and from seeing pics of my biological mother I presumed Europe was a big factor. Fast forward to me being 29 years old (ok 34, but a girl can stop time, right?). Anyway, I wanted to dig deeper and had a great opportunity to work with Ancestry.com and find some of those answers.

The Lion King, is seriously one of my favorite Disney movies of all time. I love Simba, and grew up singing “I just can’t wait to be king”, but would change it to “queen”. I’m excited to let you know that Disney is bring The Lion King back on DVD, Blu-Ray, and Digital on Aug 15 (DVD) and Aug 29 (Blu-Ray). I have a 14 year old and a 5 year old. They are perfect ages for me to watch The Lion King with over and over!

My kids and I saw Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in the theater, so when we got it on DVD/Blu-Ray/Digital we couldn’t wait to open it and watch it again. We can’t wait for a 3rd to come out. Chris Pratt is a favorite of mine, but who doesn’t love Groot and in Vol 2 Groot is a baby (so cute). So make sure you buy your copy. You can even get it in 4K Ultra HD on Aug 22nd.
