Petdoors.com "Air Seal" "Ultra Flex" Pet Door Has Been Amazing for Our Animals.

My third son is of the four legged variety. He is also a little on the perfectly plus side as he loves to raid every garbage can around, so he recently outgrew is "small sized" pet door so we were thrilled when Petdoors.com offered to send us the "Air Seal" "Ultra Flex" Pet Door in a medium size for our fat boy! This literally took my husband about 30 minutes to widen the pet door area and install this new pet door. It works perfectly, and only took our dogs a minute or so to get used to using this rather than our old "flap style" pet door. I personally love this, because it keeps the bugs and rain out and both of these are so important, especially living in Florida. We get the worst of both, and even get quite a few creatures of the slithering kind around our house, and I would hate for one of those to help their selves into something as easy as a flap opening. The Air Seal Pet Door also keeps drafts from leaking out of it, so it is great to keep down the electric bill. There is a magnetic stopper so the door is never left open to allow that draft to get out. The door and framing have a one year manufacturer guarantee so you know this is a quality product. This product is made of a material that will not corrode in the salty ocean area and will not conduct heat in colder climates.

I  have been very impressed with this door. It has never once been left open when the dogs come and go and they seem very pleased with it as well. Our elderly 15 year old chihuahua has had zero issues pushing the door open even though it is made of solid polycarbonate blocks that are hooked together with hinges. She comes and goes as she pleases, but the seal it forms is amazing in the bad, blowing rain storms we get here. With our old pet door if we had a really bad storm we would often have to mop up the area with a towel after it had passed, but with this new door everything stays completely sealed and dry.  I would definitely give this pet door a 5 out of 5 stars for the purposes it serves in our house. It has been a huge asset to our house, and I definitely plan on purchasing this type of pet dor again when we build another house in a few years.
