AirFryer Oven Make an Apple Pie and More

You guys know by now, I love cooking and I love using my AirFryer. Well now Tristar has upped the ante and made the Airfryer Oven. Now you can air fry your favorite foods and even more, you can even use it as a rotisserie.

So, what’s the first thing I make in the AirFryer oven? Well, it’s an apple pie! I mean, why not. Three recipe books came with it and a pie was in one of the books, so I figured why not. I recently (a few months ago) moved and couldn’t find my glass pie dish, but did have a round cake pan so I figured that would work too and it did. The apple pie turned out perfect in 45 minutes and no burning the crust.

What can it be used as:

Pizza Oven
Toast
Broil
Bake
Roast
Reheat
Airfry
Rotisserie
Dehydrate

I don’t really know what other countertop machine that does all of this and is super affordable. If you aren’t really sure what an AirFryer does here is a breakdown. “The secret is the stainless steel Air Flow Racks and 1700 watts of 360° Air Flow Technology. You food cooks on both the top and the bottom for that great crispy-fried taste and texture— without all the fat and calories!”

I talked about the apple pie above and how easy it was to make, I wasn’t kidding. Here are the instructions:

Ingredients:
2 pie crusts
2 cans pie filling
1 egg (for egg wash)
Sugar (for garnish)
Coconut oil spray

Directions:

Place one layer of pie dough in greased pie pan (or round cake pan)
Fill with pie filling
Cut out the other later of pie crust into whatever design you want. I did hearts and used the cut outs to put around the edge, but you can do whatever you want.
Beat the egg and brush the crust and then sprinkle the sugar
Place pan on one of the Air Flow Racks, press the baking button, increase the timer to 45 mins to begin the cooking cycle.
Once done, take out, let cook serve and enjoy!

A few friends and I do a weekly meal on Mondays that we call “Monday Night Dinner”, I know, super creative name. Essentially a few of us get together and we cook something new every week. It’s a time we can have fun, hang out, and eat new and delicious food. With my new AirFryer Oven, we decided to make the chicken tenders and cheddar biscuits. Along with those we had green beans, asian salad, smashed garlic sweet potatoes and a from scratch honey mustard sauce (we go big). Before I give you the recipe and such, I’ll give you a spoiler and say both are amazing!

Ingredients
2  cup  flour
1    stick butter
2  teaspoon  Baking Powder
0.75  cup  buttermilk
0.5  cup  scallions, chopped
0.5  teaspoon  seafood seasoning
0.25  teaspoon  Cayenne powder
1.5  cup  cheddar, shredded

Directions
1. In a bowl, combine flour and butter until pea-size.
2. Add remaining ingredients. Mix.
3. Divide into 16 balls and place on one Air Flow Rack.
4. Press the Baking Button. Decrease the Timer to 15 minutes to begin cooking cycle.
5. Serve.

Air Fryer Chicken Tenders

Ingredients
6    Chicken tenders
3    Large eggs
0.5  cup  Flour, white
1  cup  Panko
1  teaspoon  Sea Salt
0.5  teaspoon  black pepper
1  teaspoon  olive oil
0.5  cup  milk

Directions
Combine panko breadcrumbs with olive oil in a bowl.
Combine egg and milk in a bowl.
Pour flour into a pan or bowl.
Dip chicken tenders into the flour, then into the egg mixture, and finally into the panko mixture.
Place breaded tenders onto Air Flow Racks.
Press the French Fries button and adjust the temp to 370 degrees and hit the power button to start. Halfway through cooking, flip the tenders over.

Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce (I made a honey mustard)

You can get 3 recipe books that have some of AirFryer Oven favorites for rotisserie, dehydrator and fried food options.

I seriously can’t wait to try out more food with this Oven. I didn’t think I could like it more than the original AirFryer, but I do. If you have the oven, please let me know what you have made with it, or if you want it and what you would make with it.
