Should I breastfeed or formula feed? That’s a question all parents ask
themselves when they find out they are expecting. Based on personal experience
it’s the mom who usually makes the decision, and it’s not always an easy one to
make. I want to start out by saying that I am very pro breastfeeding, but there
are times that you can’t, or your baby can’t, and that’s OK too. For those that
can’t breastfeed, want to supplement or for whatever reason Enfamil NeuroPro™ may be the solution for you.
You have seen one of our contributors Kelly a few times with her son,
but her family has expanded, and she recently had another baby boy! While she
is pro-breastfeeding just like I am, she also knows formula has a place as
well. A baby’s cognitive development is so important, and she loves Enfamil is
all about #BrainFirst. Nourish the brain first-- Everything begins here is so
important.
Enfamil NeuroPro formula
has a brain-building fat-protein blend of MFGM and DHA previously only found in
breast milk*. Cognitive development is important as it relates to the way a
newborn learns, acquires knowledge and interacts with their surroundings.
Cognitive development is in the areas of memory, concentration, attention and
perception. Research has been showing that nutrition early in life may be
important for learning later in life like in the preschool years and later in
life. (Source Enfamil).
Kelly is a working mom and only wants the best for Zeek. All of us moms
are busy but adding a baby into the mix makes things a little more intense.
While you now know that Enfamil NeuroPro has a MFMG and DHA blend, what
I didn’t mention is that they are the first formula to add these ingredients in
amounts supported by clinical research. MFGM is clinically shown to help close
the gap in cognitive development between formula-fed and breastfed infants.**
Knowing that a company takes such strides to ensure excellent nutrition for
babies is comforting to myself, Kelly, and you all, my readers. If your baby
has a sensitive stomach (mine did), there is also a Gentlease NeuroPro that is
made especially for easing fussy, gassy babies.

*In amounts supported by clinical research. As measured by Bayley
cognitive scores.
**As measured by Bayley-III cognitive score at 12 months in a different
formula with MFGM added as an ingredient).

Enfamil is great stuff. I used it when my kids were babies. It was the most nutritious then, and I'm glad to see that's still the case. I love that they change as science changes to keep our kids healthy.
ReplyDeleteMy kiddos are older now he do not need formula anymore. My niece and nephew still use formula and I am pretty sure they use something like this. We have always liked Enfamil!
ReplyDeleteMy brother is still having children so I will tell him all about this formula. I love the idea of a neuro formula and this would be a great choice.
ReplyDeleteI miss my kids as babies! We used to use Enfamil products when they were on sale!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a healthy alternative to breastfeeding. Formula has come a long way!

ReplyDeleteSounds like a good option for moms who have decided to give their baby formula. Love that this one is a much healthier version because it's non GMO.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great option for moms who choose to formula feed. It's so great that mamas have the choice that will help them raise their babies and keep them well-fed.
ReplyDeleteThe technology to be able to do this with formula is absolutely amazing to me - serious praise for Enfamil! I breastfed as long as I could and then supplemented with formula and I would have loved to have this when my daughter was a baby.
ReplyDeleteI will have to share this with my Daughter. She just had our first Grandchild and has been struggling with breastfeeding. Enfamil NeuroPro sounds like a great alternative.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great option for moms who want to formula feed. Love that it's Non GMO.
ReplyDeleteSometimes parents don't have a choice and they NEED these great options. My micro-preemie triplets were breastfed but also had to be supplemented with formula. That was a long road.
ReplyDeleteFormula has come a long way since my girls were babies. It's great that there are options out there that help with cognitive development.
