Photo albums are one of those gifts and products that
everyone loves to do for themselves and for others. I mean, who doesn’t like
receiving one right? I know my girls and I have made countless for my parents,
and I have made a few for myself. Recently I was asked by Albumenvy if I wanted
to create a photo book from my trip this summer to New Orleans. The trip was amazing,
and I loved the idea of putting some of our favorite pictures together into a
photobook.
Besides picking which photos we wanted to include, I think
the hardest part of the process was deciding which album to go with and how we
wanted the outside to look. The three options for albums are:
The Photobook- starting at $36
The Hybrid- starting at $49
The Album- starting at $175
Each have their own style, and there isn’t a wrong choice,
it’s really just based on preference and budget. For ours we chose The Album, the
cameo 10x8 horizontal in black leather with New Orleans 2018 foil stamped on
the bottom. I loved the idea of the little window with the picture, and also
the “label” saying which album it is.
Once we decided on that, it was simply choosing the style,
uploading photos and then putting them in order. You can have Albumenvy
autofill the album for you, or you can choose the layout and photos for each
page. If you mess up and put something in the wrong order you can delete the
photo from that page, or rearrange the pages to fit the story you want to tell.
I love that you can put one photo on a page, or 5+, it
really depends on how you want the page to look. You can also change the size
of the photos on the page and add text. Albumenvy really made their site user
friendly.
After you have finished the whole album, preview it and make
sure all the pictures are exactly how you want them, and then order. I received
my book in under 2 weeks, which in my opinion is pretty good considering this
is a specialty item that is made to your exact wants.
I will say, it can get a little pricy depending on which option
you choose and if you add more pages ect. With that said, Albumenvy has a price
point for almost all budgets and you know exactly what the price is as you go
along, so there are no surprises.
With the holidays here, I would consider checking Albumenvy
out and seeing if it’s a good fit for one of your loved ones.
I love this great way to display photos .
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I think the option of "The Album" looks very chic. My relatives used photo albums at my husbands aunts funeral and thats what I was thinking when I read this review. Because I also lost a baby at five months this year I had the baby cremated and everything but a memorial album would of been really nice too. like how my inlaws put one together for my husbands aunt. If one were to use the leather "The album" option it would be a very nice memorial album indeed.also the quality of the photos is amazing! Wow just wow! I am seriously impressed! So clear and sharp! Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI think this is great, I love photobooks and have several that I have as keepsakes of family trips etc... The leather option is very classy too, and I like the way that you can set up your own pages and that there are several book options according to budget. These would make a great gift and also a great keepsake for family memories for many years to come.

ReplyDeleteI absolutely love all the choices and control I would have in creating my photobook. To the style to how many pics on a page, this seems incredibly, wonderfully personalized.
