If you don’t have cable or satellite/digital, then you
have limited options for watching live TV. Back in the day most people had
antennas to watch those local stations. Of course, those had their problems like
reception. Thank goodness technology has
come a long way since then and now you can get antennas that are HGTV. All
through Mohu.
I was recently sent Mohu’s Leaf Glide HGTV antenna and
had my friend Anna test it out for me as she doesn’t have cable or satellite
TV.
She was shocked at how easy the installation was. She put
little stickies on her window, attached the antenna, plugged it into the TV, scanned
and boom it worked. I was actually surprised as well. I really thought it would
be a little more complicated than that, but very happy it wasn’t.
If you don’t have the typical TV providers, you miss out
on a few features like pausing live TV. With Leaf Glide, you actually can for
up to 90 minutes. This is a huge advantage for those with children. I know I use
the pause a lot.
The Leaf Glide isn’t small but it’s not huge. It’s dimensions
are 21.5 in x
11.5 in. If you have it on a wall, it’s white and can easily blend in with the
wall and other décor as well.
Of course the biggest
feature is the range. With the Leaf Glide you get up to a 65 mile range. This
covers the local stations like NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX etc as it would for most
people. If you aren’t sure the distance of your local station, look it up
online then you will know for sure.
This antenna does cost $89,
but that’s a one time fee. You don’t pay that each month, so overall you are saving
a ton.
Other Features:
- Most reliable and innovative antenna on the market today
- Amplified by Jolt™ with Clean Peak™ filter technology: most sophisticated amplifier on the market that removes unwanted RF signals and boosts the ones you want
- Patented SignaLift technology is the best at receiving VHF channels
- Multi-directional, no "pointing" needed
- Reversible and paintable to match décor
- Easy to install
- 16 ft. high performance cable included
- 1 year part and labor warranty
I recommend checking out Mohu today and looking at the LeafGlide, or their other antennas. You never know which one will be a good fit for
you, or maybe even as a gift this holiday season.

Have not heard of this before. My niece lives in a area where she cannot get cable or cell phone reception. Dish is just a little out of her price range and this would make a great family gift for them.
ReplyDeleteLooks nice. Just wanted to let you know it’s HDTV not HGTV. Autocorrect probably got you.
