Give the gift of relaxation with Huggaroo

With the holidays here and down to the nitty gritty of it all, I do need to take time and relax. It’s good to take a deep breath even if it’s for a half hour a day. I wanted to share this gift idea for yourself or someone else that could use that “me” time and just relax.

I’m sure you have seen similar things like it, a C-shaped wrap. I have tried others and I think this is the first one that I could really feel the weight (in a good way as it weighs 3.5 pounds) and It really was like a little hug around my neck.

Materials: Ultra plush Minky fabric (100% polyester). Filled with clay beads, flaxseeds, and 100% natural dried herbs (lavender, peppermint, chamomile, and lemongrass).

Care: spot clean fabric only. Do not submerge wrap in water.
Directions: Microwave for 1:30 the very first time. May lengthen heating time in 30 sec increments for subsequent cycles, if desired. If you know the power rating of your microwave, use the provided table to find recommended heating time.

I love how easy it is to use and it lasts a lot longer than one would think. You can also use it as an ice pack. Simply place in a zip lock bag and freeze for at least 2 hours. Please know that this will only keep cold for about 10 minutes as the wrap is meant to be heated.

You can order right from Huggaroo’s site, or Amazon

This sounds awesome! I love that its weighted. I like how it comes up on the neck and wraps around. I'd love to try it.

  10. I have back and neck problems. I use a heating pad or an ice pack to relieve the pain at times. This Hugaroo reminds me of a heating pad. I like the fact that there are no cords either. I shared this Hugaroo by pinning it. Thank you for sharing!

  11. I NEED something like this desperately! I have a painful, permanent neck injury from when I was just a little girl and now that I'm over 50, it's even worse, because now I have arthritis in it too and I have to baby my neck so much or else it triggers a horrible migraine besides my neck hurting. Heat helps quite a bit. For many years I used a long clean tube sock filled with dry long grain rice (not instant) and heated that in the microwave. Then a few years ago I bought a large electric heating pad which worked well too BUT I always worried especially when i fell asleep with it on high because I know they are considered a fire hazard and it even melted holes into my silk pillowcase! I was so desperate, I used it anyway until it finally shorted out and stopped working recently. This looks like it may be good to try next and I LOVE that it has a little bit of "weight" to it, because that is comforting to me too.
