IG Charcoal BBQ perfect for Tailgating

Most people think that grilling season is done but it’s far from over especially when it comes to tailgating. The IG Charcoal BBQ makes it possible as it’s light weight and very portable.

We decided to have a few friends over and have a little Packer party and make some goodies. One being Bacon Cheddar Cheese Stuffed Burgers along with bacon wrapped stuffed jalapenos.  Get the recipes below:

One great thing is that it comes with everything you need. When it comes to putting together things, we do like to watch videos beforehand. So, we did watch one that was helpful. Our instructions did show 4 wheels when we only had 2 so that was a little confusing but, in the video, they only had 2 so that was reassuring to us. So, if you only have 2, that’s ok you are ok. It does line up, and everything works out ok.

We did have a few hiccups along the way putting it together. Luckily Dan was the one helping me, or I don’t know what I would do. He really saved the day.

Once everything is set up you are good to go. The Lever on the side lowers the grill.

It’s extremely portable so you can pack it up for tailgating and parties.

Check out the recipes below for what we made. It’s even better for kabobs.

Bacon Cheddar Cheese Stuffed Burgers

·       8 slices bacon
·       1 pound 85% lean ground beef
·       1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
·       1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
·       1 teaspoon ground black pepper
·        Hamburger bunslettucetomatoesonionsketchupmustard etc…

Instructions:

Precook bacon and chop

1.    In a large bowl add ground beef, bacon, shredded cheese, Worcestershire, & ground black pepper with your hands until well combined.  You can use a burger mold or just free form it if you want.

2.    Since this is a Charcoal grill you want to make sure this is really hot before placing it on the grill. This grill cooks fast so it only takes a few mins and flip.

3.    Serve with all the toppings you want.

4.    Enjoy!

Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos

·      6 Jalapenos
·      6 slices bacon
·      4 oz cream cheese
·      ½ cup shredded cheese
·      ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions:

1.    Slice each pepper lengthwise and take out the seeds (you can use a spoon to make it easier)

2.    In a bowl add cream soften cream cheese (should be very soft). Add the shredded cheese and garlic and stir until  well mixed.

3.    Stuff each pepper half with the cream cheese mixture. Wrap the half with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick. Place on grill until done. You can place on the hottest spot, so it doesn’t burn.

  1. This sounds great! One question though: what do you do with the charcoal after the game? Drive home with hot coals or?

  6. That is a cool-looking grill! And go Packers! I lived in Wisconsin for 3 years doing my residency and had a friend who played for the team while I was there. I have been a fan ever since -- they made me nervous today against the Panthers!
