My friends know
that I love coffee. The running joke is that caffeine is what’s running through
my veins and not blood. I’m sure we all have a friend that is like that, I know
I’m not alone (I can’t be). If you have any die-hard coffee lovers on your
Christmas shopping list like me take a look at Steeped Coffee, this may be a
winner. They aren’t your typical run of the mill coffee company.
Steeped Coffee
was created with the environment in mind. They didn’t want something that was going to clog
up the landfills. They invented a single serve bag that is compostable and renewable materials to the non-GMO
filters. Think of a tea bag but filled with ground coffee beans. Personally, I think
this is genius.
- 100% specialty coffee: no additives, soluble, crystals or freeze-drying needed
- Full immersion filter: non-GMO
- Hand roasted in small batches
- Nitro sealed for freshness
The process of making your coffee
is super simple. Heat the water in your kettle. Put the Steeped Coffee bag in
the mug and pour the water over it. Dunk the bag for 15 seconds and then
remove. Now if you want your coffee a little stronger you can leave it in a
little longer, just like a tea bag. It really depends on preference.
Steeped Coffee currently
comes in a few different blends and a decaf option a well. If you want, you can
get what’s called the lineup. It’s comes in a 10 pack or 30 pack mix of all the
blends. This way you can try them all and see which one you like the best.
If you want you can just buy
a 10 or 30 pack as you go, or Steeped Coffee also has an option to do a subscription service. This you get to pick how often you want your box
delivered. When you choose the subscription
service you also save 12% if you prepare for it.
While Steeped Coffee doesn’t require
any special equipment like a coffee maker, it is nice to have a cute mug to
drink it in, or a nice kettle to make your water. Steeped Coffee sells some
fantastic accessories as well, I suggest you take a look as they make great additions
to go along with your coffee, especially if you are making this as a gift. The
dinner mug is great, or may I suggest the Two double wall tasting glasses.
Those will definitely heighten a gift basket.
Take a look around Steeped Coffee
site. They are doing some amazing things in the coffee world. I love the fact
that that you can grab a bag and throw it in your purse for work. What do you
think?

Steeped coffee? Hold the phone! I would love to have this. Having single serve bags are perfect for when you don't need to make a full pot, but want a cup or 2 during the day.
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely not alone! I'm the coffee addict in our group. This looks great - I might have to accidentally send it to a couple of friends...hint, hint...

ReplyDeleteI thought at first, I was going to be ready about an awesome tea! I saw the bag that looked like a tea bag. I was really surprised and happy that you were reviewing coffee ☕️ to go! Is it like dehydrated roasted instant coffee in a bag?? Are there different flavors? Do I have to add my own creamer? I’m just asking, because I am truly interested in trying this! I am a true coffee lover! Thank you for sharing!
