personalized planners make great gifts

I love planners. There is something about order and being in control of at least part of my day. Back in the day at the end of the year you went to the store and just bought whatever the store had. Now, you can design your own. Now, there are companies like PurpleTrail that allow you to customize almost every inch of the planner so it’s just the way to like it.

It can be a little overwhelming at first as there are over 800 daily planners to choose from. The first thing you need to decide is what kind of planner you want. PurpleTrail will help you narrow it down with categories at the top. You can go as simple as you want with just a quote, or go a with pictures. If you don’t like a layout exactly like you want it, you can create your own as well.

Once you choose the planner you want to make, select the size you can do 6x8 or 8.5x11. then you can personalize the cover type you want and then go to personalize. This is where you actually design your cover and back. Have fun with it. You can do a lot in this if you want to. For my personal planner we recently had our fall family pictures done, so I really wanted to feature those in my planner and the quote, has a very personal meaning to me. After you are done with the cover and the back it’s all custom for pages and add-ons from there. You can choose from 9 different layouts. Personally, I prefer the hourly as I can have a very hectic schedule sometimes so to me it’s better than just listing it. There are 9 for a reason, as it’s all about what works for you. What works for me may not for you. You can also choose if you want the pages colorful or just black.

Add-ons

Add-ons are optional but they are very helpful. There are a ton of different options from notes at the end of your planner which Is what I did. You could also put notes at the end of each month instead. If you are big into fitness you can have a page to track your fitness goals each month. There are shopping lists, address lists and so many other options as well, even a set of games. Each cost $3.95 a pack and you can add up to 4 add-ons to your planner.

Stickers

Stickers in planners are huge right now. I love them. I ordered 2 packs for mine and I already put happy birthday ones one the big days, which will make my kiddos happy. Of course There are stickers for the not so fun ones like bills but those are ones I will use too. A pack of 377 stickers is under $10 which is a great deal. you can even get a folder for the back to put your sticker in. Now that's thinking!! 

Bookmarks
