Hero Training with LEGO® DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters

Fallon has loved Batman since she was baby and even was Batgirl for Halloween one year. So, when we learned that the first week of our Warner Bros Camp movie was LEGO® DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters it was almost perfect. Our activity for this week was to do some super hero training. We don’t have a cape or mask so we made one. Check it out below.

Creating a mask is super easy, you just need some construction paper, string and a scissor.

Cut the mask out to the size you want and then the eye holes. Make sure you put a hole on each side for the string. I used a tooth pick to puncture the paper so it wouldn’t be too big.

Thread the string and tie in a knot. Once that is done you can tie behind the head and you are good.

For a cape, we simply used a towel.

About LEGO® DC: Shazam! Magic and Monsters:
10-year-old Billy Batson shouts a single word and, with lightning bolts flashing, he transforms into Shazam!, a full-fledged adult Super Hero. It doesn’t take long for Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and the rest of the Justice League to take notice and invite the earnest do-gooder to join the team. But to become a member, Billy must reveal his true identity. While fighting off the evil Mr. Mind and Black Adam, Billy learns that he must trust others – and that nothing creates trust like helping those in need. Join the good fight with this giant-sized LEGO DC adventure!

The movie is super cute and pretty much any child is going to love it. You can buy it on blu-ray, or you can also download it on Movies Anywhere to have it right away. If you kiddo loves super heros and Lego, then you really need to get this for him.

Keep a watch for next week’s movie Steven Universe the movie, and see the fun activities we have planned for that.
