Starlooks month subscription box is perfect for the product junkie like me!!

Starlooks: I love makeup, remember, I am the self proclaimed product junkie. Even though right now life is consisting more of diapers and baby clothes, I still love to look pretty. Recently, Starlooks agreed to send me one of their super cool monthly subscription boxes for review, and I was excited for a mommy makeover…and they provided just that. I wish I could tell you I just pulled my hair back to show the makeup off, but in truth if you walk into my house any day of the week you will see me just like this….hair back- and sporting a nursing tank. Depending on if I have been anywhere that day or not, I may or may not have makeup on. Anywho, let me tell you about this box…this super cool box. Just so you know, the picture of me, I am only wearing the products from the Starlooks box as well as my own foundation, mascara and concealer. No other "color" was used.

First I received the HD Fluid Blush in cheeky luscious. It is very high impact and looks great and does wonders for me right now since my iron is a bit low and I am looking a little on the pale side. It applies really smoothly and definitely offers that POP of color!

 I admit the infinity liner confused me a little. You see I received the princess diaries which is a slightly shimmery pink, and it’s in a pot. So, I was not really sure what it was… so I decided to use it as a shimmer cream shadow, and was very happy with the results. After reading on the site it was an eyeliner, I think I will continue to use it as a shadow. That being said, it DEFINITELY has the staying power of a liner….it took two makeup wipes to get it off! 

The lip pencil in tipsy provides a nice neutral pinkish tone that goes great with most lipsticks and glosses. It goes on smooth but is not an overbearingly bright color like many other liners I have worn in the past. 

The last product I was sent is actually my favorite: The lipgloss in pink oasis. In the tube it looks more of a shimmery purple, but once applied it definitely looks more pinkish. Okay, let me tell you, I am EXTREMLY picky about glosses. I hate sticky glosses. I hate matte glosses, I hate anything that has no staying power…or makes my lips appear dry. The Starlooks gloss does none of this. Nope, its shimmery, it’s totally not sticky…it lasts for a long time and just looks great for a casual day or it could be worn on top of a brighter lipstick for a less casual look- not that I have much need of that! 

So, anyway…more about Starlooks. That fabulous makeup company offers you boxes monthly for only $15. The makeup inside is valued at MUCH more than that. It’s like a little surprise for you every single month- especially because you will receive 3-4 FULL SIZED products monthly!
