I’ve talked about it here. I am struggling with my milk supply for my little man. I struggled with my oldest too and gave up after 8 days. This time I went into the process much more determined and educated, but still it is an issue. Because of this, I was thrilled when Mrs. Patel’s MilkMakers contacted me for a review.

I was sent a combo pack that included a combo box of
fenugreek bars- chocolate, pb, and original. I particularly LOVE the chocolate…it
is a great little treat that actually helps with lactation. They have a little
hint of spice to them, but are sweet at the same time. Honestly you will just
have to try them to understand what I am saying, but I think they are super
yummy.
“Our Fenugreek Bars enhance postpartum healing by strengthening the joints while boosting your milk supply.Made with pure fenugreek flour along with ten other rich ingredients, these bittersweet bars will kickstart your morning and your milk supply. While the white poppy seeds and fenugreek help you lactate, the ghee and coconut enhance the quality of your breastmilk (passing on their high nutritional benefits to your child) and the peepmarul (a root wildcrafted in India) and powdered gum (a resin from the axle wood tree) enhance postpartum healing by strengthening the joints, promoting muscle flexibility and energizing the body. “
I also received a half order of both the chai tea and the herbal blend of the milk water tea. I have to admit that I was not excited to try the tea because I have never liked hot teas. Like a good product reviewer I did though, just so I could be honest with you….SUPRISE, after steeping this tea…and adding a little sugar and half and half, I LOVED IT! With a 5 year old, a newborn and our busy schedule- I have been a bit stressed…but this tea is like a little moment of me time! I find it very relaxing! It is soooo soothing!
“Our teas will cleanse out your system after delivery while boosting your milk supply. Each batch is mixed by hand and, unlike most tea bags which hold only tea dust, our loose tea features whole leaves and the highest quality ingredients.”
I was fascinated with the crunch munch and really did not expect much out of
it. I thought it would be a tasteless little blend of tiny seeds…however I
REALLY like it. It has a slight dill flavor to it, and it is so good. It is suggested to try this on a salad and I
think it would be very good that way- however I have just been eating a few
bite of these a couple times a day.
“Pop a spoonful of these toasted seeds into your mouth and crunch away all day. Best taken after meals, Munch Crunch aids in digestion while it increases your milk. Tossed with tumeric and lemon, these savory bites are a simple way to ease your stomach and get your daily dose of milk makers.”
I also want to add all of these products should only be taken AFTER
delivery, not while pregnant.
So, the true question. Has the products helped with lactation. I’ll be
honest, I am taking other medicines and supplementation to product more milk…and
something has helped. I am still not making enough to exclusively breast feed…we
still supplement, but I have went from pumping meer drops, to pumping almost an
ounce each side. Yes, to many an ounce is not much at all- but to me it is
HUGE. Yes, something has helped- and it could be mixture of it all. Mrs. Patel’s
is definitely worth a try if you are having supply issues, and it all tastes
wonderful too so you will not be disappointed in that!
