Can I vent here? I am sick to death of people, other moms
especially, wagging their fingers from atop their soap box! From breast feeding
to cloth diapering, the CIO pros and cons, jarred baby food vs homemade. It’s
enough to make my blood boil and my brain explode. ENOUGH!!

Dr Browns baby feeding
by:
Katrina Kroeplin

Like most mothers of young toddler’s meal time can
be very interesting. Good plates, bowls, spoons etc are needed. Luckily I came
across Dr Brown’s products and really wanted to try them out including their specialty
wipes. They were very kind and sent me a
whole box of supplies.

Next, I received a 4 pack of spoons. They aren’t
your typical spoons; they are shaped like a spatula. Fallon loves them. She can
hold onto them very easily and feed herself. Plus just like the plates and bowls they come
in really cute bright colors.

Tools4Wisdom Planners
by:
Katrina Kroeplin

I was looking for a planner for my mom as she needs
something a little more detailed than I do. It was great timing as I was asked
by Tools4Wisdom to check out their planners. I’m very glad that I said yes.
The planner I chose was an 11x9 spiral notebook that
is monthly week to day, daily journal. I know the planner is big, 11x9 probably
won’t fit in your purse but more on your desk or someplace you always are in
the house.

Air Scrubber Plus – Kindle Fire Giveaway
by:
Katrina Kroeplin

Indoor air pollution may be 2-5 times, and occasionally, more than 100 times higher than outdoor levels. Sources of pollution include heating oil, gas, kerosene, coal, wood, and tobacco products; building materials and furnishings; household cleaning products; central heating and cooling systems and humidification devices; and outdoor sources such as radon, pesticides, and outdoor air pollution that enter the home.
Air Scrubber Plus® with ActivePure™ technology is based on a variation of the technology originally developed for use in the International Space Station and is recognized as the exclusive Certified Space Technology by the Space Foundation in its category. Air Scrubber Plus offers the only environmental technology that is scientifically proven to actually reduce contaminants in the air and surfaces of the home.
Working through your existing heating and air conditioning system, Air Scrubber Plus uses proprietary catalytic technology to reduce dust, pet dander and odors in your home. You can reduce common smells such as pet odor, cigarette smoke, paint fumes, mold smells and the occasional burnt food odor.
The difference in air quality is noticeable; the air is fresher and the surfaces are cleaner, with an up to 99% reduction in contaminants on surfaces, like kitchen counters and toilet seats. Dust, allergens, mildew and odor-causing bacteria are proven to be significantly reduced with Air Scrubber Plus.

Monk's Bar & Grill
by:
Katrina Kroeplin

We were on a little vacation this past weekend in the
Wisconsin Dells. For those who live in Wisconsin know that this is the indoor
waterpark hub of the country. While we were there we had the opportunity to eat
dinner at Monks Bar & Grill. I had heard really good things about this
place so I was very excited to take my family there and eat.

We were seated by the host right away and made us feel very
welcome. The waiter didn’t have the attitude of oh just another day at work.
You could really tell he likes his job and loves talking to people. On the wall
by our booth was a collage of firefighter patches from all over the place. My
daughter didn’t really know what they were so it was a great time to tell her
about them and teach her. Once we explained it she thought it was really cool.

The Breeze from Dizzy Shoes are Fabulous! Win Your Own Pair of Shoes.
by:
Paige

Like all girls, I just love shoes, and own way more than I need. Recently, Dizzy Shoes contacted me and of course, this was a dream come true because they offered me SHOES!! The pair I chose are jelly shoes! Now, if you are close to my age (yep, I am getting old) you might remember that jelly shoes were all the RAGE! I know I wanted some but my Mom would not get them for me because she said that style looked uncomfortable, and I was so jealous of my classmates. Guess What, Mama? I finally get my jellies- neener neener! Dizzy Shoes has a jelly shoe that is completely redone and not at all like the jellies of the past. These are very chic, stylish, fun but grown up and classy!!
I decided on The Breeze. These cute shoes are ballet flats (at 5'9 I refuse heels) and are dressy enough to wear to church or even a wedding, because of the sparkly bow on top. I was concerned that the jelly shoes would cause my feet to sweat and become uncomfortable, but that is not the case at all! In fact, The Breeze shoe from Dizzy Shoes is SO comfortable and by far my most comfortable dress shoe! These are definitely my go to shoe now. My only complaint? They are not offered in more colors!

Simpson's Sheep Won't Go To Sleep
by:
Katrina Kroeplin

Fallon is getting to the age where books are amazing and she loves to “read”
them and also likes us to read them to her. So when I got the chance to review
a new book from Peter Pauper Press, I of course said yes, as they have such
great children’s books.
Simpon’s Sheep Won’t Go To Sleep is a very cute book written by Bruce
Arant about a farmer that is trying to get his sheep to sleep at night and they
don’t cooperate. So he has to think of a way to help them.

Luna Star Naturals- tween makeup
by:
Katrina Kroeplin

Like most girls Mya is fascinated with makup. She
always has been. When she was little I would put “pretties” on her face just to
have fun. The only problem is that those “pretties” were my make made for
adults and not little girls. Luna Star Naturals has created a line of makeup
for girls that are skipping all the chemicals. I definitely wanted my daughter
to try this.

Introducing the NEW Tommee Tippee Pacifiers!
by:
Paige

As you know, we adore Tommee Tippee! All of our baby feeding and baby soothing products are Tommee Tippee, and it is a brand I trust 100%! I was recently contacted to review the NEW Closer to Nature Everyday Pacifier with my little man. Initially he was a little perplexed because this pacifier is one size all around, and is not flat on the bottom like the other Tommee Tippee pacifiers. This pacifier is made so a baby accepts it from day one. It is made like the Closer to Nature bottle line, which means it mimics the breast more than other Tommee Tippee (or other brand) pacifiers. My little man is a year old, so he has come rather accustomed to pacifiers with a flat bottom, so it took him a few to get used to the new and improved pacifier. Now he loves it and it is his new favorite. He will throw down any other paci for these!

my pregnancy with hyperemesis gravidarum
by:
Katrina Kroeplin

I am not one of those people that enjoy pregnancy. I’m
not going to lie. For me it was horrible almost from the start. Would I do it again? NO, do I regret it? Not
for a second. The fact that I wouldn’t do it again doesn’t mean that I regret
it. I just wish it was different. I wish I had the opportunity to enjoy being
pregnant. I did it three times, and have 2 amazing daughters, but I’m done. I
can’t do it again. For those who don’t know me I will explain why and share my
story about when I was pregnant with Fallon.
Since my pregnancy with my oldest daughter was very
difficult, I was educated and prepared for a long road, what I was not prepared
for is just how bad the pregnancy with Fallon was. I will back track a little. My
husband and I getting pregnant wasn’t impossible, but it wasn’t easy either. It
was more like the odds of winning the lottery. So when we got pregnant in July
of 2011 we were shocked. In august though, I lost the baby. A few months later in
November we were shocked again when we found out I was pregnant. I had this
weird gut feeling that I was and still had a home test from before so at 2am
when I woke up to go to the bathroom I figured why not. I was shaking when it
was positive and woke my husband up to come into the bathroom. I really should
have played it cool and done something really cute to tell him, but yea that
went out the window in about 2.5 seconds when I called him in. Oh well, it’s a
funny story to tell anyway.

I know this is a topic that most of us parent dread.
The period talk with our little girls. So I will warn you ahead of time so you
can stop reading if you’re not ready.
Did your mom or sibling sit you down and give you
the talk? Or did you just have to learn everything from school or friends? I
had the combination of both, which is also awkward.

personal-planner.com
by:
Katrina Kroeplin

It’s that time of year again. We hear that a lot
around holiday’s don’t we? Anyway, it’s the time of year to think about
planners. I’m very much a person that likes to plan things out, so I know what’s
going on. Personal-planner contacted me to try out their personalized
planner. Like I said before, being a person who likes to know what’s going on I
jumped at the chance.

For size, I chose the medium. It’s perfect for me as it fits in my purse or diaper bag and I can take it wherever.
Ti Scrubs- Antimicrobial and SOFT! Win your set now!
by:
Paige

In my line of work, comfortable scrubs are a necessity. You see, I am not a typical nurse. I am a nurse in a pediatric setting that is more like a daycare for medically fragile kids. Sure, we give meds, suction and do g-tube feedings. We sometimes even have crises that require more intensive treatments, but for the most part we are up and down, cuddling and changing diapers. The constant motion means we NEED to be comfortable. Thankfully my work does allow us to wear jeans and t-shirts, but I do like the functionality of scrubs, and all the pockets.

Citrus Lane December Box Rocked My Socks!
by:
Paige

Citrus Lane sent me a Melissa and Doug Farm Animal Knob Puzzle. Even though my little man (11 months) is more interested in chewing on this than actually playing, I know we will have a lot of fun with it in the future. In fact, one of the only things I saved from my eldest was wooden puzzles. Simply because they are so expensive, and we had such a great time playing with them together! As most Moms know, Melissa and Doug is one of the top name in wooden puzzles, so definitely a quality item!

Ella's Kitchen Offers Natural, Healthy Baby Food!
by:
Paige

As much as I would love to be one of those mommies that are in the kitchen making homemade baby food, I am not. I even went as far as purchasing the materials, and reviewing a baby food cookbook, but to be honest I do not even like to cook for the adults in the house, much less my baby. What is a mom who lacks seriously in the Susie Homemaker area to do to provide her littlest ones with healthy, nutritious foods? In steps Ella's Kitchen! The foods made at Ella's Kitchen are 100% natural, nutritious and made in handy convenient pouches.

Sensory Star Publishing--Jessie and the Super Sensorific Seashore
by:
Jamie

There are fewer things in life that excite me like a company that tries to spread awareness about Autism. When you have a child who lives with sensory issues every day it makes you want to tell everyone you know about these special, amazing, bright kids. I know from experience the pain of having to sit and listen to teachers tell me how different my child is. How he just does not fit in with the group. I have watched as he chose to play alone because it was easier than trying to figure out appropriate social interaction. I have also been there to watch him have a complete meltdown because of a sensory overload. It is pretty hard to watch your little boy go through something that he does not know how to control. That is why when I was given the opportunity to review a book from Sensory Star Publishing, I jumped at the opportunity.
Ozeri Green Earth Smooth Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan
by:
Katrina Kroeplin

Ok, so I’m not the world’s best cook (I can hear my
friends gasping in surprise right now), but I do cook once in a while. When I
do I usually make simple stuff. Scrambled eggs are one of my favorite things to
make with cheese. It’s high in protein and pretty easy to make. I was offered by Ozeri to review their Green
Earth Smooth Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan. I knew even if I wasn’t the one using
it a lot, my family would love this, so I of course I said yes.
