Natures Own Essence Lavender Essential Oil

Over the course of the last couple months, I have been learning a lot about Essential Oils and how I can use them to help myself, my family and everyone else. Each Week for 5 weeks, I will be talking about one oil. The really exciting part is that at the end of the 5 weeks Nature's Own Essence will be giving one lucky winner 5 oils (Lavender, Frankincense, Peppermint, Rosemary and Moroccan Argan) valued at over $300. I am very excited to work with Nature's Own Essence and thankful they agreed to let me try their oils.

Last week we talked about Frankincense. This week we are talking about Lavender.

I never knew how many possibilities Lavender has until I actually started using it. The more I researched the more options I found. The biggest thing that I have found that is that it helps calm you.

Now I can’t tell you that Lavender will help calm everyone and anyone who tried it, but I can tell you what helped me and my family.

Inside this very simple bottle has been my saving grace most nights. It doesn’t work every night, but most, and most is what I will take and love. All I have in the bottle is water and 3-4 drops of Lavender oil. At naptime and bedtime we do a few sprays on Fallon’s bed and a few around the room, sing the nah night song and we are good to go. We started doing this because it seemed like more and more nights she was waking up. We don’t know the real reason of the waking up, but it could be from being cold or even night terrors as she has cried and said NO, NO a few times in her sleep. It’s so heartbreaking when you little ones can’t sleep well.

A little TMI here but I have really bad period cramps. The kind that make you double over the first couple days. This last period i decided that I would just try putting lavender on my skin to see if it helps. When i first put it on it didn’t seem to do anything. A couple hours later I put a little more. I did this all day long. While I can’t say it took all my cramps away (if it did i would be screaming from the mountain top) but it did help a little. Any pain relief is helpful. I just really wish this would help my hip pain. I have heard some people get joint relief from lavender, but for me it doesn't help.

What makes lavender essential oil such a powerful herbal solution?

  • Lavender oil is made from all-natural ingredients without preservatives, chemical additives, and other harmful substances found in synthetic products.
  • The scent of this oil provides relief to insomnia, stress, tension, and fatigue.
  • Massaging lavender essential oil directly onto the muscles makes the pain relief stronger and faster.
  • Not only does it work as a sedative – it also acts as an antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-fungal, and antiviral solution.
  • Lavender oil also has skin rejuvenating properties that make it effective in removing scars, stretch marks, and acne marks.
  • As a sedative, it offers optimal pain relief especially if you’re experiencing headaches, migraines, menstrual cramps, abdominal pain, muscle pain, arthritis, and other common causes of bodily discomfort.
  • Lavender oil also works as an insect repellent.

  3. Once the oil is heated up, carefully utilize the tips of your fingers to work the essential oil into hair. Choose the ends of your locks, because those parts are more harmed before gradually working your way to the roots of your hair. It is important to be gentle and never rub the oil into hair vigorously, as this can further damage hair and make it become more frizzy. scalp treatment

  4. I like that a lot of people are beginning to recognize this. As used in aromatherapy Essential oils can find their own style and taste, it is like a dish in a restaurant or a favorite actor in the film
