Destiny Collection Video Game

Typically, I don’t play a lot of first person video games. When I do, it’s usually with friends. When I was asked about Destiny the Collection, I wasn’t really sure about it. I’m glad I did, as this game collection is amazing.

Please know that the Destiny Collection is aimed for the older kids (teens, and adults), and not younger kids. As a parent, I would just check it out first and make sure it’s for your child or not. Ok, now that, I have that out of the way, we can dig into the game.
I am a new player, so I didn’t have any of the other games. I think that being new made it even better, as I didn’t have anything to fall back on.

The collection includes:
Destiny
Expansion I: The Dark Below
Expansion II: House of Wolves
The Taken King
Rise of Iron
Level 40 Character Boost
You can play it on a Playstation 4 or XBOX ONE. Destiny’s website says the following  “The Collection contains every release from the first-person shooter franchise to date. It's a way for Guardians to embark on journeys they may have missed, as well as a starting point for new players who want to join the Destiny community. It includes: Destiny, Expansion I: The Dark Below, Expansion II: House of Wolves, The Taken King, and the newest adventure, Rise of Iron. It also includes a character boost to send you immediately into the battle.”

The graphics are amazing. They really went all out for all the games. All my images are from my TV, so it loses a little bit of quality. For being a newbie, it is perfect for me. Not overly easy that I got it the second I started. Plus, it wasn’t super hard that I felt overwhelmed. I hope that makes sense.

Gamestop
Best Buy
Target
Walmart

If this game is for you or a gift, you can find it at the list of retailers listed above. I really encourage checking it out. I’m no gamer, and I loved this game and have spent a few (ok probably more) hours playing this. If you don’t want to go retail and get the CD’s, you can order just the digital download as well. Prices range from $40-65 depending on sales and where you order from. For Christmas there are some great deals going on.

  5. Yes, the graphics are cool but what makes it great is when I was reading over the review, it said that "The Collection contains every release from the first-person shooter franchise to date", now that's way cool, you can't find much out there with this kind of a collection. As a gamer myself, I find this to be awesome.

  13. My son plays this on the XBOX 360 AND HATES that all of the expansions are for the XBOX ONE only...Although this game is geared toward older teens, my 8-yr-old daughter sometimes plays with her brother. I am extremely strict about what games are played at our home. I have not encountered anything that would turn me off.
