As you guys know, we love a good video game around here. Finding
good games that are kid friendly and not just for the adults can sometimes be hard.
Recently we were sent Starlink for the Playstation 4, and some accessories from
Best Buy. Dan’s son took one look and was super excited. He has seen the game
and has been wanting to play it.
Starlink:
Battle for Atlas is an open-world space saga that features modular toy
technology that allows players to assemble and customize real-world physical
starships, link the starships to their game controller, and launch into an epic
adventure across the Atlas star system, either in single player or with a
friend in two-player split-screen local co-op.
Each
modular component and pilot attached to the starship appears instantly in-game,
allowing players to directly affect the course of their battle in a meaningful
way.
Canon
loved how the pieces go on the handset and when you turn you turn the craft. He
thought that was pretty cool and fun.
In the
starter kit it includes:
- Controller mount
- Flamethrower weapon
- Frost barrage weapon
- Mason Rana pilot
- Poster
- Shredder weapon
- Starlink video game
- Zenith starship
When
getting the starter pack, don’t forget about the accessories like Levi, or a
starship pack.
I’m
impressed on how affordable the entire line is including the main starter pack.
I’ve seen some that are priced at $100 or more, but the Starlink at Best Buy is
under $40 with most of the accessories being under $15 and some under $5! Starlink is made for Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and XBOX ONE.
My son would love this game.
