Protein Oatmeal

Sometimes it’s hard to know what to make for breakfast. We sometimes get into routines. A couple months ago Dan wanted to eat a lot healthier to lose weight and just get healthier. Me, being me, I took the challenge and took over his meal planning. One of the things I made and it’s now a family favorite is a protein oatmeal with bananas. I’ve been making it weekly. It can be easily doubled and reheats great. This oatmeal takes about 10 mins and is so easy is ridiculous.

Voorman Sugar Free Biscuits Perfect for On the Go

If you have a crazy schedule like me, you are probably pretty busy in the mornings, right?
I mean, getting kids ready for school, yourself ready for the day, everything at once. I live for
on the go products, they are a lifesaver. So many of the on the go foods have sugar overload
though, and for my specific diet, that’s hard on me. Voortman (yes the sugar wafer company)
has made a breakfast biscuit that is delish and is sugar free!!!

Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon & Sugar Chips

I had my birthday party and of course it was full of amazing foods. I wanted something healthy to round out the chocolate and pizza, so I decided to make a fruit salsa and Cinnamon and Sugar Chips to go along with. Let me just say, it’s amazing. If you love fruit, you will love this.

Strawberries Mango Smoothie with Pineapples, and Blueberries

Fruit smoothies are not only a healthy option for you, but they are also really good. Finding the right combination of fruit is the key. Pretty much just choose ones you like. For the smoothie I made, I did one of my favorite combinations: Strawberries, Mangos, Pineapples, and Blueberries.

Strawberry and Blue Cheese Crumble Salad with Litehouse Foods

This post has been compensated by Litehouse Foods. All opinions are mine alone.

Christmas is a little over a month away (what?!?), so I need to start thinking about what I’m going to make during the holiday season. One nice thing about moving across the country away from most friends and family is that we can start our own new traditions. I have made this salad a few times before, but changed it a little this time with the help of Litehouse Foods.

Fried Rice To Go from Minute Ready to Serve Rice

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Minute® Ready to Serve Rice.

We live such busy lives, well least my family does. My daughter like to take col lunch to school sometimes, but still wants a hot meal (which makes it kind of hard). I was recently asked to try Minute® Ready to Serve Rice. Reheating rice isn’t always an option, so having something that we can just take on the road is great.

healthier alternatives to your favorite foods

I recently received a gift box of Cascade Ice for review. I thought originally that these guys would be something that only my kids would drink but boy was I wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed each flavor (I had at least a sip of each) and loved that this is a calorie free alternative to soda but really tastes just as good! I loved that I could get the carbonation of a soda, without the calories! My kids also love it and looked forward to getting it at dinner.
