One thing my family knows how to do is eat. I don’t say that in a bad way at all, we just enjoy food. So when you combine our love for food and our love for football, you have a party! I also have a very messy toddler, and husband. That means that we also get a lot of spilled food on clothes and stains! I was recently had a chance to try out Persil ProClean 2in1 and put it to the test.
Sloppy Joes were the perfect way to test out the laundry detergent and also something my family loves to eat. To get ready for the big game, I made it from scratch and made a double batch so there will be enough to eat during the game too.
in true toddler fashion she spilled on her favorite white “night” shirt. Usually I would take it off right away, soak it, treat with a pre stain product, and then finally put in the washer. I did none of that. I didn’t even throw in the washer right away. I let it sit until I had a full load of whites which only took a day. Without doing even the pre spot product I washed it. I wanted to really see what Persil ProClean 2in1 could do.
After the load was done in the washer I pulled the shirt out hoping I didn’t ruin it by letting it sit to long without doing anything. Nope, it was like it never got spilled on. Not even a little trace of a stain at all. Perseil ProClean 2in1 really did what it said it would do.
I have always wanted to do this like in the commercials |
Looking at the price of Persil ProClean 2in1, it is a higher cost coming in at about 25 cents a load compared to some that are 5 or 6 cents per load. You definitely get what you pay for. You get the assurance that your clothes will really come out clean. In a recent Consumer Report it states that Procter & Gamble takes about 60% of sales when it comes to laundry detergent. So it was a big deal what Walmart has an exclusive partnership with Persil. This detergent is very popular in Europe. With this new partnership with Walmart people in the US will soon know what I know, This detergent rocks. I have used cheaper detergent before and have had to rewash my clothes. Not only did that cost me most but it took way more time. As a mom of 2, and a very busy schedule having to redo laundry is not on my list of fun. So, to me the added cost is well worth it.
Now that I know it will really get my clothes clean, I can wear my Green Bay Packers jersey while watching the Super Bowl knowing that if (ok when) I do spill that my clothes will be ok and won’t ruin them. Yes, I know I just said the Packers and the Super Bowl. They may not be in the game, but I still love them and since I don’t own anything of the teams that are playing, this will have to work.
Even though Persil ProClean 2in1 is a premium laundry detergent, you can still find it all over. Walmart, Sam’s Club, Kroger, Hyvee, and many other stores carry it. Look at their store locator to see if your favorite store has it.
What are your messy go to game go to food? Like I said before Sloppy Joes is one of ours, and you can make it using only one pan. Check out my recipe (they are definitely a crowd pleaser).
Another one of our favorites are my Chorizo Pork Balls. Chorizo is a very fatty meat and it’s juices love to go all over. With Persil ProClean, I can let my kids eat it in the living room rather than only the table.
So start getting ready for the game on Sunday and have fun with the cheesiest, messiest foods without fear of ruining your clothes. I have been seeing advertisements for Persil and wondered how well it works. I cut a coupon out for it to use. I figured it would be more expensive than cheaper brands. I'm glad I read this review to see how well it works otherwise I might not buy if it was a lot more expensive than my regular brand. I think I'll give Persil a try now.
